Hey folks....up for sale is my Gibson copy hearts and flowers banjo with a Prucha pot. First off, I bought the neck from another hangout member. It is an older curly maple neck with a beautiful Brazilian rosewood finger board. If you'll notice, there is not an inlay at the 1st or 15th fret. This neck had been on a pre war Granada with a 2 pc flange. I had Chris Bozung make it for a 1 pc. You can barely tell that he even did any work on it. Plus he added a new heel cap (see pic). The frets are in fair condition. The neck has the Granada binding, bone nuts and the tuners are Gotohs. They are smooth as silk. There are a few small nicks on this neck, but nothing major at all. Just a good feeling and playing neck. The curly maple resonator was done by Chris Bozung as well. It's absolutely beautiful. I had him to age the binding so it would match the neck binding. It's not an exact match, but it's close. The whole pot, including the wood rim, is Prucha. The tonering is the heavy one that Prucha sells. The Kershner tailpiece is their "modified" one. I bought the whole pot from Greg Boyd. I had Ron Satterfield to copper plate them plus the tuners and capo for me. Now, concerning the copper plating. When I got the parts back from Ron, I clear coated them. For some reason, the clear coat didn't take so well. It could have been the brand that I used, I'm not sure. But the funny thing is, where it's coming off and some of the copper has started to patina, it looks like an old pot. It actually looks cool with the old neck. I also had some old buttons that I put on the tuners and they look good with the copper plating. Sorry for the pic being blurry. The biggest *major* concern with the plating is on the armrest. (see pic) All in all, this banjo looks and sounds good. Right now I have an American Made head and Sosebee bridge on it. I'm selling this banjo with a brand new Guardian Tweed hardshell case and the Kateyz capo and nice leather strap in the pics. I've described this banjo as best I can, but if you have any questions at all please feel free to email or call me. Thanks for looking! Also wanted to add that there aren't any "ears" added to the headstock. The grain runs all the way across. This is a true 1 piece neck. Also, there is a round padded cushion that you can put either on top or underneath the resonator in the case.
