1983 Imperial banjo for sale. I believe it's a Shenandoah model, but I'm not certain about that. There is no label inside the rim, only a serial number stamped in the bottom.
The overall condition is excellent. It does have some minor wear on the first few frets. The wood is in great shape, with only a couple of small visible dings on the back of the resonator. I think the neck may have one small ding also.
It has a mahogany neck and resonator, 3-ply maple rim, no-hole flathead tone ring, one-piece flange, ebony board with MOP inlay, 5-Star tuners and a Kershner tailpiece. All the hardware is nickel plated. It is currently set-up with a new 5-Star head and a Gary Sosebee bridge. It has a great playing neck with good intonation.
