I bought this Deering Goodtime new in March, 2011 from Banjohut for $389. I put an EZ Resonator on it ($50 from Janet Davis Music), installed railroad spikes at the 7th and 9th frets, as well as a hand-crafted maple armrest. A Stone padded gig bag included, along with book First Timers On The 5 String Banjo & DVD (List $19.95). I love this banjo and hate to sell it but I want to upgrade and need the extra cash. This banjo has an excellent sound and the EZ Resonator really makes it ring.
The banjo is in excellent condition. No dings or nicks in the rim, neck or head. The strap in the pics is not included.
Description from Banjohut.com ad:
"The Goodtime banjo has a slender low profile neck that is easy to finger and comfortable for large and small hands. The high quality rock maple wood contributes to the bright sparkling sound of the Goodtime banjo. This hard, dense wood is also very strong and stable. The fret work is accurate and precise to ensure accurate intonation over the entire fingerboard. The Goodtime banjo weighs about 4 pounds so it is light enough for children to hold and play and is ideal for traveling, camping, hiking, taking to the beach and provides a vibrant singing banjo tone in any situation.
