Stromberg Deluxe. Chas. A. Stromberg and Sons Deluxe tenor banjo. circa 1920's. This was their top of the line banjos made by the small Boston shop. Gold plated throughout with decorative flowers. Hand cut bird motif inlays on the neck and three headed bird on the headstock. Carved detailed neck heal. Metal plaque with Chas. A. Stromberg and sons on dowel. 20 frets and a 24 1/2" scale. 11" pot with a renaissance head. Brown stained maple rim with gold plated tension hoop and flange. Rosewood neck. Of course the Cuppo-phone tone ring. Vintage case is included. Less than 200 of these Deluxe models are believed to have been made. Email me with any questions. More pictures upon request.
