Reposted: For sale is a used walnut Bishline Custom Heirloom 5-string banjo. No fret wear and the armrest is "woodgrain" to match the banjo. This banjo is in excellent condition with one SLIGHT ding in the finish on the back and a slight smudge in the finish on the top side of the resonator, just above the neck. Neither actually go through the finish but the purchaser needs to know this. The smudge is about the size of a pencil eraser and about the same shape. Bishline banjos are known for their exquisite wood, workmanship, tone, and playability. This banjo has a tunneled 5th string where the tuning machine is located in the middle of the peghead. The neck is straight grained while the resonator is a beautiful burled walnut. At the current price of $1800, I can let the newly installed Fults 1934 tailpiece stay with it. If you want me to replace it with the original tailpiece, I can take $1700. The case is fiberglass from Musician's Friend and is also in excellent condition. Note: I would like to keep the strap. In case someone is wondering, this is the same Bishline that was for sale a few weeks ago. We have had some unexpected occurrences in our family that make it necessary to sell or I would be keeping it. This is a really beautiful instrument.
