This is a Bacon & Day "Silver Bell" No. 1 Plectrum Banjo 4 string made in 1925 in Excellent Condition. This is the classic Plectrum 4 string Banjo that has the sound and projection as well as apperance that is legendary among 4 string Plectrum Banjo Players. This Banjo is in excellent condition with a unique inlaid pattern on the fretboard with extra inlaids on all of the frets. I have included with the Banjo a custom hand painted Calfskin Banjo Head of a Sailing Ship in the moonlight with the sky over head and the orignal hard Banjo case from 1925. The Banjo was made in USA by the Bacon & Day Banjo Company in 1925 very close to the year that the "Silver Bell" No.1 model was introduced. A rounded chrome Vega style armrest is currently mounted on the side of the Banjo. I am selling the Bacon & Day "Silver Bell" No.1 Plectrum 4 string Banjo for $2750.
