I found this high quality antique rosewood banjo neck many many years ago and built a 12'' x 3'' pot to match the style of the neck, I used some antique hardware. I stretched a skin for it and put real gut strings on it. It has ivory flush frets and bone tuners. It is a 24'' scale and plays great. The sound is the same as my BOWLIN 1865 Fretless banjos and is fun to play. It looks very old and antique.
I don't know the neck makers name, but I'm sure it is from the mid 1800s. I will include a set of my custom Bowlin heavy guage antiqued NYLGUT Aquila strings and a Boulder Alpine padded Gig Bag.
