I’m calling this a “DeLuxe” model because that’s what is on the block at the 22nd fret. Having said that, this mahogany banjo resembles their Vintage 35. The inlay work on the neck and double cut headstock is pure Vintage 35 as is the triple bound neck and resonator. The resonator also has w/b/w concentric rings. The one piece flange pot assembly is built around the Sullivan “Old Growth Historic Rim”. The tone ring is unplated and according to Eric at First Quality Music, it’s a prototype ring. I’d rate the condition as excellent with a couple of dimples on the headstock. The rest of the neck and resonator are excellent +. There’s a little tarnish on the armrest and the first few frets have slight wear but plenty left. Dressing is a long way off. Presto tail piece. Factory installed spikes at 7, 9, & 10. TKL case in excellent condition. Shipping/insurance included. I also have a 49 Classic for sale. I'm keeping the one that doesn't sell first.
