This is actually quite rare, a prewar B&D original neck five-string. This was made after the original company was bought out by Gretsch and it bears a Gretsch tailpiece. The resonator is crystal pearloid shaded from silver to the color of a Kalua and Cream Sombrero. The peghead is pearloid and the brand and model are eyched and painted in light pink. It has old timey tone sounding like a loud open back. The Banjo was purchased around 1996 from Mandolin Brothers Ser # 6812
