I have this wonderful old Dobson Victor Professional that needs restoration - I thought I would undertake it but I am not able to - time and skill issues!
It is a 30 bracket and all the shoes are present. A few hooks have been replaced. The tp is a cheap replacement. The tension hoop is a Gibson E2. It has a shot skin head from which I was able to save the the hoop. It is an 11 inch pot so a modern head of another skin head can be put on. The fingerboard was very thin ebony and has completely disintegrated. I have most of the pieces - especially the original inlays. The way the fingerboard was made the fret slots are still in the neck and thus the scale can faithfully be replicated. The tuners in the headstock are there but it is missing the fifth string tuner. It comes in its shabby cardboard case (not original IMHO).
This would be a wonderful winter project for someone - not me.
Do ask questions - I am open to trades for banjo parts.
