Offered is a Pre War Granada pot which started it's life as a ball bearing. The holes in the rim were filled and an early Huber flathead ring was installed giving it new life. (the early Huber rings do not have HUBER etched on the outside of the skirt). The flange is a one piece that had a small section broken at some point that has been repaired and is structuarally sound. It has an original old gold clamshell tailpiece. and the old tension hoop, barckets and nuts all have the old gold patina you would expect. Original old tuners with pearl buttons. Beautiful flame resonator and neck, with speed finish which gives it an "as old as the pot" appearance! This banjo has that nice old dry sound with the sustain that the old Maple Granadas are known for. Payment via Paypal, Certified bank check or cash in person. Banjo is located in middle tennessee about half way between Nashville and Knoxville.
