I'm looking to primarily trade this banjo down (banjo + cash) ideally for a resonator-neck set, or a flinthill or recording king banjo, but send me your offers.
TB-00 Pot, replacement Presto tailpiece. Original armrest. Some brackets original. Resonator hardware looks original. Resonator is in good condition with minor rashing. Don Bryant installed an Arnold Clayton Pyramid ring onto the thin-shell rim. He also worked the neck to pot fit very well, as the rim is slightly out of round and has a small spot of tone ring overhang at the fit. Currently has a renaissance head on it.
Neck: 50's RB-100 with railroad spikes at 7,9. Frets are in good condition, will probably need a refret within 5 years. tuning machines have been replaced, however some original pieces, including buttons, transferred over easily to the new tuners. Geared fifth string with aged ivorite button. Original tuners (minus parts on current) will be included.
This banjo has a lot of character. While there are some great conversions sitting right around this price range here on the classifieds, I priced it accordingly due to the old wood in the neck. All the wood in this banjo is old, and that's what counts.
