If you are looking for an ESS in pristine condition, this is it. There are no dings, scratches or marks on the wood that I can see. Only slight discoloration on parts of the nickel finish which could be polished. I bought it from someone who won it in a banjo contest, and he said it was unplayed. I haven't played it more than a few minutes. Between the flood and the feds, I have heard that Gibson hasn't made any new banjos since April 2010, but this banjo is nearly as perfect as a brand new one. The SN is 4822, and it comes with the original paperwork and will be shipped UPS. Instrument will be packed very well with strings loosened. Shipping costs also include insurance.
