Up for sale is my Deering Goodtime Special. The Goodtime Special model does have a tone ring "Patent Pending Steel Goodtime Special Tone Ring" which has been pretty well-received. It's not a heavy ring but has plenty of pop. From the Deering website :
"
Tone:
Has a bell like tone that is loud, crisp and clear and easily heard in a band setting.
Easy to play with clarity of note separation.
"
Also this is the newer "Goodtime Special" version with the newer 'violin grade' maple rim + the newer fiddle-shaped peghead. All original, no mods & has not been messed with. I bought at local store so it was setup when I bought it. Nice low action.
Under 5 bills and keep in mind this is not a Gumby head, it's got the new peghead & the newer, higher quality rim.
I'm a brand-new Banjo player, had started down the Bluegrass path but now I've switched to Clawhammer and am not looking back. It's only been played for about a month, in mint condition with no fretwear, scratches, or marks on the head. Also included is Deering embroidered gigbag. I'll also include a "Gold Tone Ultimate Banjo Mute".
I'm asking $495 + shipping and any Paypal fees. This is my first sale here at BHO but have bought&sold many guitars under same pg60 username at acousticguitarforum.com. I also have perfect feedback as longtime Ebay member goatman860.
Please contact me with any questions and please wish me luck on my first sale here!
