I'm offering my wonderful Epiphone Alhambra tenor banjo for sale. Walnut neck, green pearloid resonator, engraved pyralin headstock and fingerboard, etc. All original, silver plated hardware including Grover 2-band/grained ivoroid tuners and "Epiphone" engraved clamshell tailpiece. Stamped serial number is 7041, and this has the tension hoop with a continuous groove around the side rather than around the top of the hoop. Plays really nicely and has an incredibly strong sound. I stumbled into a very unexpected opportunity to acquire a special, one-of-a-kind banjo (actually another old Epiphone) and need to reorganize my collection in order to make things work out. Several vintage dealers have suggested a range of value they would expect from this banjo, and I am pricing it below their suggestions in hopes of finding a new home for it quickly. Asking $1750 but willing to entertain respectful offers. I'll try to get images posted before too long, but please don't hesitate to call me at (812)822-0423, or email me at rdwalter@indiana.edu if you have questions or want to discuss this banjo in more detail. Thanks for looking, Rich Walter
