I've owned 10 Reiter banjos over the years. This one is very interesting, a 1984 short scale, serial #40, with scale length of 23 3/4. Bart used to make his own truss rods until it got to be too much trouble, and he switched to a 24 3/4 scale. 11 inch head, brass rod tone ring. mahogany neck, dark stained maple pot. A great sounding A-scale banjo and probably the ultimate travel banjo. With chipboard case. Great condition, just a few small marks on inside of rim. $995 includes ground shipping.
