Edward Victor Dick of Denver, Colorado built me this 6 string banjola in the late winter of 2010. Edward holds the copyright to the "Banjola" and makes exquisite instruments. I am not playing banjo these days and so it is shamefully sitting idle. Its better to go to someone who will make use of it.
Here are the specs: Built in March 2010. 6 string Standard Model (Like 5-string but with one extra bass string) with premium grade East Indian rosewood back & sides, western red cedar top, curly koa binding, checkered rosette and purfling, ebony fingerboard with pau abalone dots, inlaid ebony mustache style bridge, ebony peghead with inlaid bwb purfling, and gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons (Upgrades from $2,900 standard are gold tuners ($25), ebony buttons ($50) ebony peghead and purfling ($150), inlaid mustache style bridge ($150), premium grade side and back ($100).
