This is a 1979 Ode banjo in excellent condition. I am the second owner of the banjo which I acquired less than one year ago. There is only one "ding" on the banjo on the side of the resonator. The wood is NOT dented and the finish did NOT crack. This is one of the easiest playing banjos I have ever owned. The banjo has lots of volume and produces a sweet, clear, very punchy sound. The model C comes with a heavy bronze 20 hole flathead tone ring and is the same as the gold plated D model. The only difference is the gold plating and inlay pattern of the D model. All metal parts are in excellent condition. This banjo is completely original right down to the head. The original case is included and is in excellent condition. This has to be one of the cleanest Odes out there. It will not disappoint.
