The Kay KBJ85 is a well crafted banjo and a great American symbol! The Kay KBJ85 features a flying eagle on the outside of the resonator and comes with a new banjo head and new strings. It features a maple neck, inlaid rosewood finger markers, nickel/silver frets, a 30 bracket aluminum rim and a rosewood arm rest. Planetary tuning machines round off this great looking and sounding instrument. I don't know the age of the banjo. Though not mint, it has been well cared for. The neck is straight, the finger board and frets are in very good condition. A hard shell case is included.
