For Sale: 1987 Stelling Sunflower 5-String Banjo, $2200 Shipped (HOLD - SALE PENDING) - $2,200 USD

This is an original 1987 Stelling Sunflower 5-String Banjo. Serial number is 3238 It is in very good condition for a 25 year old instrument. The finish has no scratches that I can see. There are a few small “dents” that do not show up in the pics which do not damage the lacquer coating. The frets are worn and will need replacing in the future, however, at present it plays and sounds great with no string buzzing. The original pancake Stelling tuners were replaced with the new Stelling 2-band tuners (from Stelling) a few years ago. The original tuners will be included. The case is also a recent Stelling case in excellent condition. A new Ludwig head ordered from Stelling was installed a few months back so it has had time to settle in. The bridge is a new Sosesbee Red Maple 11/16. There is no tarnishing or damage to any of the Nickel plating. It has 5th string spikes on the 7th, 9th & 10th frets. The banjo looks great.
