I’ve been enjoying building gas can and cigar box banjos. I now have more than I can play and have this one to offer for sale. Can: Very nice 2-gallon vintage gas can. Neck: Maple tenor banjo neck of unknown age. I drilled and added a fifth string peg and a screw to set the fifth string height. The neck is attached to a 1x2 piece of oak that runs all the way through the can and the strings attach without a tailpiece. Tuners are economy grade from Stewart McDonald and strings are medium gauge. String action is nice and playable all the way up the neck. It has a basic piezo pickup installed (hidden in the screw top on the can). Priced at $125. There is a video on my personal page that gives you a sound sample of this instrument.
