This is a really cool banjo. Originally was a TB-3 and now has a perfect copy five string neck by master luthier Frank Neat. This model features one of Gibsons earliest tone rings, a perforated ring with 60 holes. The rim measures 10-1/2 " and retains the original calf skin head, armrest, and engraved tailpiece. The five string neck is lightly sunbursted to match the original tenor neck which is included. Scale length is 26-1/4". This is a fine banjo for a variety of styles from fingerpicking to old timey.
