Banjo is 2011 serial #3478 and is in like-new condition with upgrades detailed here. I replaced the Elite head with a John Balch goat skin head he made using my RP as the forming rim. I would also include the original Elite head. I also upgraded by adding a Ni-plated dowell ferrule, normally only on Bart's higher end models, and I replaced the standard tuning peg knobs with upgraded Iveroid buttons (could include originals if wanted). Added an arm rest. Mahogany neck, scooped.
I honestly don't know of a ding or mark on it.
Bought from Elderly with the description below:
"Bart's only model with a 12" rim - Mahogany neck, 12" diameter rim with rolled brass tone hoop and Elite Renaissance head, 26 brackets, Five Star planetary tuning pegs, adjustable truss rod, ebony fretboard (1-1/4" wide at nut, ~26 3/16" scale) scooped above 17th fret, ebony peghead overlay with pearl star inlay. Bottom edge of rim is stained black."
I didn't get a case with it, but do have an older Gibson hardshell case suited for a resonator banjo which is large enough, with satin lining, with replaced handle.
