I got this banjo about a year and a half ago. I live in Chicago and in small studio. This banjo is way to loud, the way it should be played for my building so I have decided to sell it to someone that will play it. This banjo has been played very little. It has never been pofesionally set up so that is the first thing you would want to do. I have spike at 7, 9 and 10. I also upgraded my bridge to a Sosebee, a very nice touch I might add. I just took it out of the case for the first time in months and find 2 of the tuners to be slipping a bit. This may need to be addressed when gettting your tune up but want the buyer to be made aware of this. It might just be the strings too. I am going to get a new set tomorrow to replace and will ipdate if this takes care of it. I will also be including my Blue Chip Thumb Pic, an XL JD Crow Model. I also have 2 pro pics, a capo, tuner and original case. These will be included in the price of 600.00! Would like to sell in the Chicago land area (selfish reason, would love to hear it set up and played by someone that can play it!) but of course will ship. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!
Update: just repleced sptrings and tighened up the head and no sign of tuners slipping. Sitting over nght will give a better idea i think and will update soon.
