The Deering Maple Blossom is an excellent banjo with a crisp, clear tone. The Eastern hard rock maple neck and resonator are stained a walnut color, and trimmed in white binding with a decorative black stripe. The feel of binding provides a more comfortable neck. Flower shaped mother-of-pearl inlays are set in an ebony fingerboard. The three-ply maple rim, sand cast virgin bell bronze tone-ring and zinc flange cosntruction generate an excellent tone in the Maple Blossom. These features and price make the Maple Blossom one of the favorites. This banjo also comes with a FREE hard shell banjo case!

This banjo has seen a lot of play time, but still has a lot of good miles left.
It has a new Remo head, speed neck, 5th string spikes removed, new Gotoh planetary tuners, Huber bridge, and a Presto tailpiece.
The peghead has quite a few dings, etc., and just general wear and tear showing. The frets are showing some wear also, but there is no buzzing or other play-ability issues.
This banjo is a real cannon, with lots of growl and pop, and volume to spare. Great for bluegrass!
Again, this is a player's banjo, not a showpiece. If you're serious about pickin', this pro quality banjo will take you as far as you want to go!
This thing is rock solid, its just not going to win any beauty contests.
It will come shipped in a brand new hard shell case.
