Beautiful Custom Huber Walnut in excellent condition with HR-30 tone ring. Great pre-war sound. Serial #709-45.
The neck is straight grain walnut, which is also used for the resonator side walls as well as the resonator back (as opposed to the burl walnut used on the standard VRB-4. This option is not listed as an option on Huber's website so I don't know if it's available or what the cost of it would be if it can be done.) Twin concentric rings of marquetry in the resonator. Antiqued white/black/white binding on the rosewood fingerboard and resonator side walls. Satin-finish. Flying Eagle pattern inlays.
I've got another Huber so I'm willing to let this one go in order to try a Prucha or a Nechville, with possible cash either way.
