This is a blem/b-stock Gold Tone BG-250F banjo. This banjo is new and in excellent condition, except for a minor blem on the heel of the neck. Gold Tone BG-250F's are manufactured with a plastic cap that covers the neck heel, and this one has a section of the plastic cap that is missing. This is a purely cosmetic blemish that has no effect on the sound, playability and structural integrity of the banjo, and it cannot be seen when the resonator is attached, the resonator completely covers the missing section. Please see the last two photos which show the blem highlighted in red.
Other than the blem this BG-250F is in excellent condition and comes with a full professional set-up by Gold Tone at their facility in Titusville, FL. A hardshell case is also included, as pictured.
