This is a blem/b-stock Gold Tone Béla Fleck ML-1 “Missing Link” Baritone. This banjo is new and in excellent condition, except for some finish blems on the outside of the rim, along the fingerboard of the neck, and on the resonator. They are minor, purely cosmetic blems that have no effect on the sound, playability and structural integrity of this instrument.
Please see the photos for details. Pictures 6-11 show the resonator, the blems are not easy to see, but I still took photos to going around the whole resonator. Photos 12 and 13 show the most significant blems on the rim, there are a few others that are minor enough that they do not show up in the pictures. The last 4 pictures show the blems on the edge of the neck/fingerboard.
Other than the blems this ML-1 is in excellent condition and comes with a full professional set-up by Gold Tone at their facility in Titusville, FL.
