There is none other like it. The body is part of a deisel locomotive, the brackets are electrical grounding lugs, the J-hooks are motorcycle spokes, cut down and rethreaded. It has an elaborately inlaid resonator, with magnetic attachment.
The neck is from 120 year old maple construction scaffolding. Aircraft Aluminum non-adjustable truss rod. Clear head.
5th string runs the entire length of the neck. Needs only 1 capo. (If you prefer to spike it at the 5th, I'll even send you a spike.)
Bone top nut.
I was building it for a person who wanted the strings spaced wider, similar to his classical guitar.
Due to an unfortunate turn of events, the deal fell through.
I have about $120 in parts, and 18 hours of labor wrapped up in this.
You may offer a lower price, but it should include what YOU would charge for 18 hours of your labor, just to keep it reasonable.
