This is a great prewar gibson tb-11 conversion banjo. It was purchased from Gruhn guitars 3 yrs ago and has original flange, rim, hooks and nuts, resonator, bottom coordinator rod, tailpiece hanger, armrest, and stretcher band. It has been converted with a Huber 20 hole flathead, and a mahogany (w/blue stain) neck with a 75 style "crowe" pattern inlay. This banjo is a cannon with great tone and volume. It has a prewar presto tailpiece that was punched for a 5 string by Jerry Keys. A prucha top coordinator rod has been added by Ronnie Bales. It comes in a standard gibson logo factory case. Back of resonator looks great, neck is in great shape but the maker is unknown, binding on neck has also been shaded to match resonator binding. Flange is in great shape as well, with some slight rasing around the heel of the neck. Banjo also comes with waverly 2 band tuners with ivoroid buttons and keith-scruggs tuners with matching ivoroid buttons. This banjo will not disappoint!
