This is a great Bowtie. I never thought I would sell it, but I have another prewar banjo that I am picking up in a few weeks (it will also have the JBS ring in it), and I need to sell a banjo or two. This banjo has the new JBS ring in it. I would rate it as excellent, but it has a small chip on top of the peghead, that you can't see in photos. It started life as an archtop. I have the original tuners that I will send with the banjo, but I had them replaced with Gotohs by Arthur Hatfield, since this banjo is a player, not a collector. Speed neck, frets done by Chris Cioffi. I would rather sell it, as I am really only interested in perhaps a Deering Tenbrooks or a Nechville XXV, but if you have something that might interest me, I like email. I might try something like an Eagle II, with cash my way. I can talk by phone, Skype, or Facetime. I have plenty of references, and lots of folks are familiar with this banjo.
