****PRICE REDUCED****
I bought this banjo off Banjo Hangout a couple of years ago with the intention of learning fretless. I have since found out that I am much more adept at playing a fretted instrument. Although it looks great on my wall, I haven't played it in weeks, so I figure I can use the extra cash.
Here is the description from the previous owner, as he put it into words much better than I can: The pot is an original 10 1/8" Vega "Little Wonder" mandolin-banjo in excellent condition. You can see the serial number in the pictures is #29936, which I believe dates it to 1913.
Mike's Ramsey's scooped neck is maple with ebony fretboard, and there are position dot markers on the neck, as well as fancy Vega period inlays at the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 12th frets (not to mention the griffin on the top). Includes a TKL hard case.
Further info: Neck width at the nut = 1 1/2", Neck width at the pot = 2 1/8", Scale length (nut to bridge) = 25 5/8".
