1989 Granada Hearts and Flowers Banjo: Used Gibson Banjo, gold plated, inlaid hearts and flowers. Stripped maple finish in excellent condition. Gold Plated hardware. Includes original premium Gibson hard shell case with combination lock. Considered by some to be the Rolls Royce of banjos. Made with Gibson's original metal composition for the tone ring and hand-engraved metal parts. Earl Scruggs wrote the bluegrass book on a Gibson Granada. Neck and resonator are made of highly figured maple and finished in a rich amber-brown lacquer. Dark rosewood fingerboard is delicately inlaid with abalone hearts and flowers. Multi-bound top and back with 24k gold plate hand-engraved hardware.
