For Sale: This is a Hopkins Woodie banjo in like new condition. Asking $2,700.00. It has a wood tone ring which makes it very light. It belongs to my wife. She purchased it a couple of years ago because it is really light weight and it has very good tone and volume. She purchased it at Morgan Music in Lebanon, Mo. and she paid $4,295.00 at that time. She has back problems and this was the solution to the problem. Now days we mostly just play around the house with friends and she can sit. She is selling this and a Gibson RB3. The wood on this banjo is really beautiful. It has a resonator that is unreal (please see the pictures) with some of the best looking walnut I have ever seen. Judge for yourself. Some of the best players around are playing Hopkins banjos. Comes with a top of the line TKL case that is in new condition.
