Hi everyone! I am selling my 1926 Gibson TB-3 ball bearing conversion. This is a very clean banjo and the absolute best ball bearing I have ever played! It has a Larry Cohie neck, who is well known on the west coast as the Frank Neat of the west. He copies every detail of the original neck including...real ivory nut, brazilian rosewood fretboard, thin binding, smaller Gibson logo (only found on the 1926). This banjo also come with the original tenor neck. It has a maple neck just like all style 3's. The resonator was also refinished to match new neck. All ball bearings and springs are in tact. The pot is in great shape with some normal wear on the metal. All flat hooks are in tact. This banjo will come with a nice tweed vintage hard case and the original Gibson tenor case. My wife is making me sell this due to money issues and she says I have two prewars so I need to sell one. I really love to play this one and didn't want to let it go as I switch back and forth a lot. So I picked the one I play more, my 40 hole, and there you go. I'm sure she'll make someone very happy!
