A 1985 OME Monarch that has never been sold, still has original paper work, so buyer can send off register as original owner. It is a near mint as you can get basically. It must have been played while on display, you can tell on the arm rest some, but it may even polish off, have not tried. On the peg head, looks like almost a finish flaw ( which I doubt from OME) I'll try and show in pics when I post them later, less than the point of a pencil. It plays and sounds great. No picking marks on head, but if I keep it, there may be, since it's hard not to want to pick it. The wood is walnut, nickel hardware with a rosewood board. The banjo sells not for about 4 grand new, so it's basically and it's new from 1985. The case is not new, but is a hard shell from that era looks like. I am located in the up state of SC. Pics will go up soon.
