This is a smooth playing, easy fretted banjo which would be excellent for a youngster or a a woman who would like to learn to play. Very early to fret and make chord formations.
There are no markings on the banjo. Frets are VG and all original. Has a nickle spun over piece around the outside of the 5/16th" maple rim. Mahogany neck is straight and frets out well.
The neck shows no marks from playing, and frets out at the 12th fret. Probably sat in a attic somewhere in Maine for the past 100 years.
