I have a fantastic One-of-a-kind Martin OM-28V Black Limba prototype, with Black Limba sides and back and a gorgeous sitka top. Bone nut and long-through saddle, no cracks, and perfectly set up. I play old-time and bluegrass, and this one is set up well for both (I can send setup parameters if you're needing that). Not crazy low setup, but low enough for very fast flatpicking and great action for fingerstyle with 1 3/4" at the nut. Sound is much like the rosewood depth and overtone, with focus and clarity that you might expect from mahogany (although not the fundamental sound that mahog usually brings). Gorgeous guitar overall.
No issues. Although it is drilled for a pickup one has never been installed.
It's valued around $2K.
I'm looking for a great 5 string openback - would love to trade for a fielding, enoch, romero or something equivalent. I play clawhammer, and would be most interested in a modern interpretation of a Dobson style or A-scale. I like simpler instruments, with traditional appointments. Happy to consider lesser-valued trades with cash.
I'll be uploading pics soon, and can provide sound clips if you're interested.
