Remo weather King 11 inches, High crown frosted top head.
The neck is not new but has no wear at all. It needed some repairs on the heel and on the ebony fretboard and headplate that had Old and stabelized small cracks. I enlarged the cracks with a chisel before to fill them up with a mix of Epoxy and ebony dust. it will not crack again. The Lange style inlays are fantastic, the neck is made of hard maple with fine laminations of maple and Ebony. Heel cap and truss rod cover are also ebony.
Neck is 1 1/4 inch at the nut ( bone nut with a abalone dot) and 1 7/8 inch at the heel, scale is 26 3/8 inches, 18 frets and a frailing platform not grooved so additional frets can be added. Action is set at 2,3 mm with a 5/8 inch bridge.
Banjo weight is 9,3 pounds
Great sounding banjo for traditional music, jazz folk or bluegrass.
