Gibson 1926 TB2 conversion " Old Ugly" Done by Arthur Hatfield
Has a Huber no hole ring. I do have all the "ugly hardware" that Arthur originally put on. Comes with D tuners, Guardian hardshell case. This is the best conversion I've ever played. There are several old threads about it you can search and read up on. Arthur will tell you it's a very very good sounding banjo. Here is a email he sent me back when I asked him about it. ""Hi Rick
I remember you. I bought that banjo off ebay to be a 26 TB2 is what it was advertised as. It has a block rim and a Huber no hole ring. I made that neck several years before I bought that pot. It was on another banjo but I refit it to that pot. Its a very good banjo about as close to a pre war flathead as any banjo I have ever played, if its set up right. Arthur""
Anyway I dont play banjo enough to have this great banjo. And play guitar daily. I'm looking to trade for Martin guitars or possiably a cheaper banjo with a guitar.
I'm not very computer savy nor do i have a good camera so the only pics I have are ones I've taken with my iPhone. Hope I can upload them. I can email more pics or any questions. Sorry for the poor quality pics. Thanks for looking. Rick
