I purchased it new from Banjo.com in April 2006. This Gold Tone PS-250 Plectrum Special S/N 2603421 has served me very well as my primary Old Time Jazz workhorse. It has a Farquar bridge and brass washers under the lug nuts. It show very minor scratching on the resonator and minor fretwear. It is very playable and rings clearly all the way up the neck. The case shows wear and tear, but would be usable for many more miles.
The current Banjo.com site price is $1064 plus $135 for the hardcase. Since recording this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wphXT-C7PfA I have switched to an SIT Plectrum String set and adjusted it for a somewhat warmer tone.
