Vintage Fender Artist - made in the USA
This banjo is most likely a late 60s model, and is one of the cleanest ones I've ever seen.
The walnut neck has a nice, slim profile. It's currently set-up with an 11/16" Hatfield bridge (not pictured) and a 5-Star frosted head. I believe the fingerboard is rosewood. All hardware is chrome plated. The tailpiece is a clamshell style. I can include the original tailpiece also if the buyer wants it. The hooks and nuts are brand new parts. The frets show very minimal wear. There are no visible dents, (only one tiny ding), scratches or repairs. Had two very small holes from the original 5th string capo.
For those not familiar with these banjos, they're a bit on the heavy side (12-1/2 lbs.) These are very fine sounding and playing instruments, and are made to last a lifetime. They are head and shoulders above the newer Korean made Fenders, in my opinion.
Asking $1195, or best cash offer.
Will come shipped in a non-original TKL hard case.
