I bought this 2011 Gold Star GF-200 new from JDMC and had it shipped to me in Afghanistan to play during a year-long deployment. I played her as much as I could, while aboard FOB Deleram and Camp Leatherneck... after playing I wiped her down and always kept her in the case. I kept her babied and as in mint condition as possible. Outside of the wear on the head, you can hardly tell this banjo's been played. There's a little wear on the fretboard, but the fret wires hardly show use and the wood is just wearing in. The wood on the resonator and back of the neck is perfect. This baby's been played only enough to mature the sound and settle it in nicely. Spiked at 7, 9 and 10, the only defect is the cover is missing from the tail piece. Will include the original Guardian case, in 95% condition. Thinning the banjo heard as I expect orders this summer - so sorry, sale only, not interested in trades at this time. Thanks for looking, and fire away with questions!
