This is the seventh banjo I have built and the first out of spalted beech. The banjo has a 25 1/2" scale and an 11" Remo Weatherking head. The tuners are 5 Star geared planetary tuners from Stewart-MacDonald except the 5th string tuner which is a 5 Star right angle tuner. The tailpiece is also from Stew-Mac and is a No-Knot. There is a two way truss rod in the neck. The rim has a wood tone ring turned into it and is 3/4" thick, built of three layers of 12 blocks each. The bridge is 3/4" high and both it and the nut are made from spalted beech. The only other wood in the banjo is the position dots on the fretboard, which are oak. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. My instruments all are sold under a 7 day trial period. If you do not like the banjo you may contact me within 7 days of receipt and let me know you are sending it back. I will refund your purchase price when the banjo reaches me, but the shipping cost is not refundable since I have already paid that money to the post office. Thank you for looking. Zach
