Here's my Gibson ES, purchased new by me from Janet Davis in 2000. Serial number 00-07. Description as per Gibson web-site details, with the addition of Keith tuners on 2nd and 3rd, plus spikes on 5th and 7th frets, and a Snuffy Smith bridge. This banjo has mellowed well over the years, and it's never sounded better to me than it does now. There's some minor wear here and there on the gold plating, some tiny chips at the back of the peghead, and some playing wear between the first and fourth frets (nothing that affects intonation). The case is also showing it's age but is fully functional! It's a fine instrument, very playable. I'm looking to get more into reso and pedal steel lately, but I'll still need a good 'workhorse' banjer for bar gigs here. So I'm open to suggestions as far as a deal goes. I can supply any number of detail pics if required, and will be happy to answer any questions.
NB: These photos were taken whilst I was experimenting with a Price tailpiece. The original engraved Presto has since been re-fitted. Apologies for any confusion!
