I have a Cox Fairchild for trade it's a nice banjo it has a few spots were the clear-coat has been chipped on the binding on the resonator but nothing in the wood. It also has a scratch on the back of the neck probably from a capo.The frets look great no ware hardly at all. I was told It was re-fretted by Jimmy Cox a wile back. the gold plating is a little faded on parts of the tension hoop and the flange that doesn't show up in the pictures.It also has some small scratches that will not show up in the photos.But remember. This banjo is around 20 years old and has been played It has a 2pc flange. It has spikes at 7th 9th and 10th frets . It also has a full thickness rim 3/4" thick.It has a 5 Star head and a 11/16 snuffy smith bridge on it. . This banjo has the powerful maple sound.What do you have to trade on. I'm wanting to trade on another banjo.Maybe something mahogany.
