Here's a chance to finally play/own a magnificent Chuck Lee 11" tubaphone.
I ran across this by accident a while back and had to give it a home. It's my favorite banjo configuration!
- 11" UN-plated brass, Bill Rickard tubaphone tone ring = LOUD with incredible note clarity and projection. I can hold my own with any fiddler.
- Hard rock maple pot and neck
- 25.5""super sensitive" neck/fingerboard... it gives me notes! All I have to do it think about 'em! :)
- Chuck's incredible attention to detail in ever facet of this instrument's construction
It's also got RR spikes at 7, 8 and 9. Comes with newer HSC.
Got too many banjos in the corral (again) and the misses doesn't have any place to hang her clothes so something's gotta go. Whoever picks this up is gonna love it. It's all the good you get with a Chuck Lee banjo plus the fun of an instrument that makes you sound and look better than you really are. :)
$2,300. That's $450 under a new one today. And this one is practically brand new (2010) with no wear.
