This Recording King Banjo is a fantastic instrument. It has not only a very attractive appearance but more importantly it has a clear and loud bark and has a beautiful warm mahogany sound. It's true all the way up the neck.
This banjo's retail price is 1299.00 and worth every penny. But because I have plaid it for about 2 1/2 year I am selling it for $ 925.00 which is $ 374.00 below retail price. It comes with a hard shell case. I have kept it very clean, always in the case, no scratches or blemishes. The head shows it has been played but that happens to every banjo when you play it regularly.
The case is in like new condition.
A $ 30.00 genuine leather cradle strap is included.
You won't find this quality banjo seceond hand very often, because everybody loves them once they have played it!
I am selling this banjo because we need the money, otherwise I would keep it til the day I die because it is a fantastic instrument, holding it's own in every situation.
