2010 Deering Saratoga Star with 06 tone ring. Just taken on a trade 01/31. This has been played the last couple years by Super Picker Barry Waldrep.The banjo has a few minor imperfections (check pics) but if someone can look past these they can have the very best at a great price.One flaw is a finish chip next to the fifth string tuner and the other is a small nick in the rim.both are noted in the pics and purely cosmetic.The frets and fretboard look virtually unplayed.Beautiful flame in neck and resonator. I checked with Janet Deering and She says this was originally a demo at a music festival as indicated by the "demo"" and "CF" noted in the serial number. Very sweet maple tone up and down the neck.
