has a walnut neck which was made for this banjo, and it has original pancake tuners.
The banjo was converted usinging a Huber tone ring.
Banjos of this calibre are selling for the price I am asking without the tone ring or 5 string neck.
A great playing and sounding banjo with that dominate pre war banjo sound.
The resonator is original to the banjo but has had some over spray on the inside of the wood.
The action is excellent and the neck are frets are like new. It really plays like a dream, and I do
not think there is a better Blue Grass banjo made than a pre war Gibson.
